We do not ship to Post Office Boxes.

Packages can be sent out only Monday-Friday.

The shipping and handling charges are based on the Candy Total, the dollar amount of the items being sent to each address before tax is added or any discount is applied.

If the temperature where you are shipping is between 70 and 78 degrees, your package may have to be shipped by Expedited Service, if above 78 degrees, by Next Day Service, to keep the chocolates from melting.

Shipping packages to destinations with high temperatures: When chocolate items are sent to areas with high temperatures and will be in transit no longer than 48 hours, they will be insulated with ice packs free of charge. Schwartz Candies will only send packages to places where the chocolates can be received in pristine condition. We may delay the shipment of candies if we deem them likely to arrive melted.

If, at customer's request, we ship chocolates by Standard Service when the temperatures at the destination are too high, we cannot guarantee that the chocolates will arrive in proper condition.

Packages delivered in New York State are subject to State and local sales taxes.

Free Shipping: The temperature in the New York metropolitan area and at the destination must both be below 70 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of shipment. If weather forecasts predict a rise in temperature during the time a package will be in transit, either the package will be held until the temperature lowers or it will be sent and the full shipping charge applied. Customers will be notified of forecasts of warm weather prior to shipment of their packages.
